Judyanna Yu Simcock

Judyanna Yu Simcock is the Founding Partner of One Six 8 Ventures, a global venture capital fund investing in high-growth MedTech verticals with active M&A buyers. A serial entrepreneur and experienced corporate officer, she brings over a decade of executive leadership as CFO for venture-backed public and private medtech and biotech companies, serving as a financial steward over billions in investor capital, capital deployment, and public market governance. At One Six 8 Ventures, she directs an elite interdisciplinary team of physicians, healthcare executives, and operators from Harvard Medical School, Johns Hopkins, Johnson & Johnson, and KPMG to identify breakthrough medical technologies and accelerate their global commercialization. Building on an international career spanning eight major markets across North America and Asia, she previously built and scaled her own enterprise, securing major multi-year international commercial agreements. Beyond fund management, Judyanna serves on the Board of Directors of BioAlberta, acts as a venture mentor for late-stage companies with Life Sciences BC, and is a frequent speaker and panelist on MedTech capital allocation, sector trends, and venture strategy.
