Andy Chang

Mr. Andy Chang serves as Managing Partner at Hermitage Capital.

He has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, served as Senior Vice President of Morgan Stanley International Equity Division-private Wealth Management in Greater China. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, He worked for several of the world's leading financial institutions, including Merrill Lynch and Citibank, focusing on investment strategy analysis, portfolio management, structural product design, and execution.

As a qualified Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), began his career with Trend Micro, a Tokyo-based multinational software company. At the beginning of the 00', he switched his career into finance industry, focusing on researching and evaluating global hedge funds, including the MAN Group and Superfund (known as Quadriga in 2000) which was known as the pioneer of quantitative trading. With years of experience in finance and asset management, he manages several international enterprises, ultra-high-net-worth family accounts, and several well-known family offices in Asia. In addition, since his journey from Merrill Lynch to his later career at Morgan Stanley, not only helping ultra-net-worth clients manage their asset allocation and investment portfolios, he also managed the execution of various transactions for more than 25 investment agencies (including mutual funds and hedge funds) in Taiwan and Hong Kong.

He has a combined academic background in technology and finance. His experience in the financial industry uncommonly covers both corporate and private sectors, and his clients are also outstanding representatives of various fields. Andy holds a bachelor's degree in transportation management from Tamkang University in Taiwan, meanwhile he is also the member of Columbia Business School VC/PE Program, and MIT Sloan AI: Implications for Business Strategy Program. He is still pursuing continuous in-depth learning in the dual AI domain - Artificial Intelligence and Alternative Investment.  Andy was named FOFWEEKLY 2023 “Top 10 Digital Economy Emerging Elites”.

Andy is currently based in Hong Kong.
